Graduate Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time)
Pay: £95–£100 per day (6.5 hrs)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate Learning Support Assistants to work on a full-time basis across mainstream secondary schools and specialist SEN provisions in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in education, particularly those considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or support services.

About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with a range of learning needs. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support, both in the classroom and in small group or one-to-one settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with additional learning needs, including those with SEN
  • Assisting classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Providing one-to-one and small group interventions
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A degree (Psychology or a related field preferred)
  • A genuine passion for working with young people
  • Previous experience in tutoring, support work, care work, or similar roles (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude
