The Role
We’re looking for an organised and creative Marketing Executive to join our central Marketing & Communications team. This is a graduate/early-career role for someone who enjoys creating content and supporting activity across multiple marketing channels.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the role will help manage incoming requests and workflows, coordinate projects, create and schedule content, and provide practical support across copy, social media, digital, video and artwork production.
What you’ll be Doing
Role Responsibilities
Marketing Operations & Requests
- Help manage incoming marketing requests, ensuring briefs, priorities and deadlines are clear, directing work appropriately and following up on missing information or approvals.
- Maintain key marketing trackers, shared folders, templates and resources, acting as a helpful first point of contact for colleagues seeking marketing support.
Marketing Coordination & Project Delivery
- Support marketing campaigns, projects and smaller workstreams from brief through to delivery, maintaining plans, timelines, actions and status updates.
- Coordinate feedback, approvals and amends, following up on actions and highlighting delays, competing priorities or capacity issues.
Content Creation & Copywriting
- Create, adapt and proofread content for campaigns, toolkits, presentations, websites, emails, client communications, social media and internal channels.
- Write clear, engaging copy for different audiences and channels, repurposing existing content where appropriate and ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
Content Planning, Social & Digital
- Help manage content calendars and schedule approved activity across social media and digital channels around campaigns, promotions and key business moments.
- Support day-to-day social, website, email and client portal activity, including preparing content, making updates and gathering basic performance data.
Creative & Artwork Support
- Use Canva and approved templates to create, amend, resize and version straightforward marketing assets for digital and print channels.
- Ensure artwork follows IFG and individual brand guidelines, working with the design team on more complex creative requirements.
Video & Multimedia Content
- Edit short-form video content using CapCut or similar tools, including captions, graphics, transitions and resizing for different platforms.
- Help organise footage and completed assets, supporting the team to build a consistent pipeline of reusable video and multimedia content.
What We Are Looking For
- A degree, qualification or early experience in marketing, communications, digital, media or a related area.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written English, proofreading skills and attention to detail.
- A creative mindset and an interest in content creation, social media and digital marketing.
- Confidence using Canva or similar creative tools, or a willingness to develop these skills.
- Comfortable visiting sites as required to capture photo and video content, review marketing activity and support brand audits.
- Some experience of video editing tools such as CapCut would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, CMS, email marketing or project management tools would be an advantage.
- Good Microsoft 365 skills and confidence learning new systems and platforms.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with the confidence to ask questions, follow a brief and take ownership of agreed actions.
