Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Italy

The Client

OCS are currently recruiting for a leading international multi-disciplinary engineering services contractor who are on the lookout for graduates to join their projects in Europe. My client work across pharmaceuticals, data centres and power transmission and distribution. This is a great opportunity for graduates to kickstart their career under a contractor who had a €933 million turnover in 2025. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, plumbing and piping.
• Prepare, review and interpret engineering drawings, equipment schedules and technical specifications.
• Perform mechanical load calculations, equipment selection and system sizing to support design requirements.
• Analyse technical data and contribute to design optimisation, efficiency improvements and value engineering initiatives.
• Support BIM modelling and multidisciplinary coordination to ensure effective integration of mechanical systems with other building services.

Requirements:

• Level 8 Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Proficiency or exposure to AutoCAD, Revit or BIM tools.
