An established UK division of a global engineering and industrial services organisation is offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Operations & Utilities Trainee to join its specialist water utilities team.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate (or equivalent) looking to start a career within utilities, engineering services, operations, or project support. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to live water treatment projects, specialist equipment, and office-based operational support, while receiving structured training and mentorship from experienced professionals.
What You’ll Be Learning & Doing
- Supporting water utilities and treatment projects from preparation through to delivery
- Assisting with the preparation, checking, and dispatch of specialist equipment
- Visiting customer sites to support operational activities and gain practical experience
- Learning how innovative water treatment and filtration technologies are applied in real environments
- Supporting stores, logistics, and equipment management processes
- Completing administrative tasks including data entry, document control, and record keeping
- Communicating with operational, technical, and commercial teams across the business
- Supporting multiple departments to gain broad business exposure
- Taking part in structured training and development programmes
- Recent graduate or equivalent (engineering, environmental, science, logistics, or business-related disciplines welcome)
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident communicator with a positive, proactive attitude
- Willing to learn, ask questions, and get involved
- Comfortable working in both office-based and hands-on environments
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage tasks effectively
- Structured training with real operational exposure
