Graduate Quantity Surveyor – Water – Ellesmere Port – up to £60k + Package

Our client is an internationally recognised civil engineering contractor, established in 2001, specialising in the design and delivery of complex infrastructure projects across the water, wastewater, utilities and tunnelling sectors.

Following the award of significant work on the United Utilities AMP8 framework, they're looking to recruit an ambitious Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in the North West. Working alongside experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers, you'll gain exposure to every aspect of the commercial process including procurement, subcontract management, valuations, cost reporting, change management and final accounts across a diverse portfolio of clean and wastewater projects. With AMP8 providing a secure pipeline of work for years to come, this is an opportunity to build your career on long-term projects rather than constantly moving between short-term contracts.

The ideal candidate will have completed (or be about to complete) a Quantity Surveying degree and have around 2/3 years of Quantity Surveying experience with previous experience of utilising the NEC form of contract. Above all, they're looking for someone with the right attitude, willingness to learn and ambition to develop into a first-class commercial professional.

In return, they offer a highly competitive salary (dependent upon level of relevant experience) with company car or car allowance, 27 days holiday, 5% pension and discretionary bonuses.
