An excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate to start a long-term career in technical B2B sales with a successful specialist distribution business.

You’ll join a structured training programme designed to give you a strong understanding of the business, its products and its customers before progressing into a customer-facing Graduate Sales Executive role.

No previous sales or industry experience is required. The business is looking for someone with the right attitude, ambition and willingness to learn, and will provide full product, technical and commercial training.

The Role

As a Graduate Sales Executive, you’ll gain experience across different areas of the business, including:

• Customer service and internal sales.

• Purchasing and stock control.

• Warehouse and logistics.

• Product and technical training.

• Customer relationship management.

• Business development.

• Sales administration and commercial processes.

As your knowledge and confidence develop, you’ll begin preparing quotations, supporting customers with technical enquiries, building customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

The aim is for you to progress into a fully-fledged Technical Sales position, managing your own portfolio of customers and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded and keen to build a genuine long-term career.

You should have:

• A degree or similar qualification, although applicants with the right attitude and potential will also be considered.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• A proactive and positive approach.

• Good organisation and attention to detail.

• An interest in learning about technical products and industries.

• A willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.

• A full UK driving licence.

Previous sales or technical experience is not required. Your attitude, motivation and potential are much more important.
