Are you a recent Science graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching? We are recruiting a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Greenwich this September.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Science Teacher to develop their skills while supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role:
- Support Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Provide one-to-one and small group interventions to help students reach their potential.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and practical experiments.
- Help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Support students of varying abilities, including those requiring additional learning support.
- A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or another Science-related subject.
- Passionate about education and inspiring young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
- Considering a future career in teaching.
- Valuable school-based experience in a supportive environment.
