Ready to kick-start a career in Temporary Works Engineering? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Engineer to join a small, progressive consultancy in London, offering the chance to develop specialist skills in a fascinating and highly technical area of engineering.
The role is ideal for a recently graduated Civil or Structural Engineer with a genuine interest in temporary works. No previous experience is required - full training, mentoring and on-the-job support will be provided by experienced engineers.
Working on a varied portfolio of challenging construction projects, the successful graduate will gain hands-on experience in temporary works design and checking, preparing calculations, drawings and technical reports, and working alongside permanent works teams and site personnel to develop safe and practical engineering solutions.
Projects can include high-rise construction, complex ground conditions, concrete frame solutions and technically demanding construction schemes, providing an excellent opportunity to build a strong and varied technical foundation.
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is essential, together with enthusiasm, curiosity and a real desire to develop a career in temporary works. An understanding of Eurocodes and British Standards would be advantageous but is not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit consultancy where graduates are given the support and responsibility needed to progress. For someone looking to specialise in Temporary Works Engineering, this could be an excellent first step towards a rewarding long-term career.
