Graduate Surveyor

Our client is a well-established private-sector property consultancy in Leeds, looking to recruit a Graduate Surveyor with some existing commercial property experience to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor who has already gained experience within general practice and is looking to broaden their skill set while progressing towards RICS chartership and APC.

The Role

The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across a range of commercial property disciplines, including:

• Valuation
• Landlord & Tenant
• Agency and transactional work
• Commercial property management
• Property inspections and reporting
• Lease and property-related advice
• Market research and comparable evidence
• Supporting senior surveyors on a varied commercial portfolio

The role offers genuine general practice experience, providing the opportunity to develop into a well-rounded commercial surveyor while receiving structured APC support.

About You

We are looking for a RICS-accredited graduate surveyor with relevant commercial property experience, ideally gained within a private practice environment.

You will ideally have:

• A RICS-accredited degree in Real Estate, Property, Surveying or a related subject
• Previous experience in commercial property surveying
• Exposure to a range of general practice disciplines, ideally including valuation, L&T, agency and/or property management
• Strong communication, analytical and report-writing skills
• A commercially minded and proactive approach
• A clear ambition to achieve RICS chartership
