We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Colchester, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant. This Colchester school is committed to providing high-quality education and ensuring every student has the support needed to succeed both academically and personally.

Job Overview:

  • This school caters for students aged 11-16.
  • Full-time, Monday - Friday, Learning Support Assistant role.
  • Support students in lessons on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Help students develop confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
  • Provide additional support for students with SEND and varying learning needs.
  • Encourage student participation and engagement across the curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and parents where appropriate.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
