We are currently recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in South East London, starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on classroom experience while supporting students with their academic and personal development.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting students in and out of the classroom
• Assisting teachers with learning activities and classroom engagement
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
• Encouraging students' confidence, progress, and participation
• Supporting students with their academic and personal development
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- A graduate degree
• A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine interest in education and working with young people
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Ongoing support from a highly experienced team
• The permanent equivalent rate is paid after 12 weeks of work, which usually means a pay rise!
• £300 voucher for a successful referral
