This Graduate Teaching Assistant job in Lewisham will be offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £115 per day, dependent on experience.
The successful applicant will be a university graduate who is passionate about working with young people and keen to gain valuable experience within a secondary school environment. You will support pupils across KS3-KS5, including students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), both on a 1:1 basis and within small groups. You will also work closely with teaching staff to support learning, manage behaviour and help pupils engage effectively with the curriculum.

The School is Looking For:
- A Graduate Teaching Assistant with a degree from a UK university
- Someone passionate about supporting young people and helping pupils achieve their academic potential
- Those with experience supporting secondary-aged children are particularly encouraged to apply
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable
- Someone competent and confident in GCSE Maths and English
- A resilient and enthusiastic individual with the ability to quickly build a positive rapport with pupils
- Someone confident supporting pupils 1:1 and within small groups
- An individual able to assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and general classroom support
- Someone available to interview immediately with a view to starting ASAP
