The role
- Full time Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Starting September, with opportunities to start sooner
- Long term position in one setting
- Supporting teaching and learning across the primary school
- Assisting with literacy, phonics, numeracy and core subjects
- Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support where needed
- Supporting children with a range of learning needs
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
- Working collaboratively as part of a friendly team
About you
- A graduate with a degree in a relevant subject such as Psychology, Education Studies, Child Development, Childhood and Youth Studies, Sociology, English, Maths or similar
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their learning
- Some experience working with children through placements, tutoring, volunteering or paid roles
- Confident supporting learning and adapting to different needs
- Patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships with pupils
- Reliable, positive and committed to making a difference
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively
