About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers and school staff to support students' academic progress and personal development. You will gain first-hand experience of working within a secondary school environment while developing the skills needed for a successful career in education.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting students in lessons on a one-to-one and small-group basis
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
  • Providing subject-specific academic support to students
  • Helping pupils improve their confidence, engagement, and attainment
  • Supporting students with additional learning needs where required
  • Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
  • Promoting positive behaviour and a productive learning environment
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school
Ideal Candidate - We are looking for graduates who:
  • Hold a degree in English, Mathematics, Science, ICT/Computer Science, Business, Economics, Humanities, or a related subject
  • Have a genuine passion for education and supporting young people
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are professional, reliable, and proactive
  • Can build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Are interested in gaining practical school-based experience
A degree from a Russell Group University would be an advantage; however, applications from graduates of all universities with strong academic backgrounds and a passion for education are warmly welcomed.
