Our client is looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Transport Planner to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments, supporting projects from initial feasibility through to planning and delivery.

You'll work alongside experienced transport planners and engineers, gaining hands-on experience while developing the technical and professional skills needed to build a successful career in transport planning.



The Role

As a Graduate Transport Planner, you will:

  • Assist in preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
  • Support the production of technical reports and planning documentation.
  • Analyse traffic and transport data using industry-standard software.
  • Contribute to junction capacity assessments and traffic modelling.
  • Assist with site appraisals and transport feasibility studies.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Support senior team members in delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop an understanding of UK transport planning policy and guidance.


About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Educated to degree level in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning or a related discipline.
  • Passionate about transport, sustainable travel and infrastructure.
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Analytical with good problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Eager to learn and develop within a collaborative environment.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively as part of a team.

A full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
