Location: Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Tring and surrounding areas

Salary: £28,000 - £42,000 DOE

The HireWorks is looking to connect with experienced Greenkeepers who are considering their next career move.

We work with country estates and sports facilities that regularly recruit skilled Greenkeepers to maintain high-quality playing surfaces and landscaped grounds, across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties. We support them with permanent Greenkeeping and Sports Turf appointments throughout the year.

Typical Duties

• Preparing greens, tees and fairways to a high standard

• Operating ride-on and pedestrian mowing equipment

• Bunker maintenance and course presentation

• Turf repairs and divoting

• Irrigation system monitoring and maintenance

• Seasonal renovation projects

• Fertiliser and treatment applications where qualified

• Machinery checks and basic maintenance

What We're Looking For

• Previous Greenkeeping experience

• Passion for turf management and outdoor work

• Knowledge of golf course presentation standards

• PA1 and PA6 qualifications desirable

• Full UK Driving Licence preferred

• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
