We are currently working with a Housing Association seeking an experienced Ground Worker to join their responsive repairs team in Bedfordshire.

• Carry out day-to-day groundwork repairs in occupied residential properties.
• Complete paving, slabbing, concreting, and tarmac repairs.
• Excavate and reinstate footpaths, driveways, and other external areas.
• Undertake drainage repairs, including clearing, replacing, and installing pipework.
• Carry out fencing repairs and installations, including posts, panels, and gates.
• Reinstate external areas following utility or maintenance works.
• Maintain a tidy and professional approach while working in tenants' homes and communal areas.
• Safely operate hand tools and small plant equipment.
• Identify and report any additional repairs or follow-on works.
• Support other trades with minor make-good works when required.

• Permanent position with a salary of up to £34,000 per annum

• Previous experience as a Ground Worker within responsive repairs, maintenance, or social housing.
• Experience in paving, drainage, fencing, concreting, tarmac, and general external repairs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality customer service.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Ground Worker, Groundworker Multi Trader, Maintenance Operative, Multi-Skilled Operative, Multi-Trade Operative, Multi Trader, or Handyman, particularly those with experience working within social housing, housing associations, domestic properties, local authorities, or Ministry of Defence (MOD) contracts.
