Ground worker Ganger – Fulltime

A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 5-7 years (HS2)

PAYE basis

Pay rate: £19.85 per hour for the first 39 hours and the remaining 11 hours at £29.77

Paid Holidays: 31 days per year (including 8 bank holidays)

Must Have:
- CSCS Blue/Gold

-SSSTS OR SMSTS

- Driving license and own car

• Supervision: Overseeing daily site activities and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

• Team Management: Leading and working alongside a gang on civil engineering and groundworks projects.

• Health and Safety: Implementing the requirements of the Developed Health & Safety Plan on site.

• Cost Management: Recommending cost-effective alternatives to materials and processes.

• Team Building: Encouraging team building and good working relationships with colleagues.

• Honesty and Integrity: Being aware of the impact on others and learning from mistakes

• Experience in ground works as a ganger, on civil infrustructure projects.

Overtime:

Saturday- First 4 hours time and a half, remaining paid at double time

Sunday- Double time
