Grounds Maintenance Driver

£13.61 per hour

Location: Chislehurst, London

40 hours per week

7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday (half hour unpaid lunch break)

Our local authority client provides a full range of grounds maintenance services to the public and they are looking for Grounds Maintenance staff who hold a full, manual driving licence.

This is full time, seasonal work which could lead to securing permanent employment. 

• To undertake grass cutting, watering of trees, shrubs and flowerbeds, hedge cutting, strimming, litter picking and weed control.
• To work as part of a team with the aim of ensuring productive and professional relationships with colleagues and the general public.             
• Ensure hand/power tools and grounds maintenance equipment, machinery and vehicles in your charge are secure, in good working order, carry out routine maintenance and refer major mechanical problems to your line manager.
• Empty bins, including bag removal and bag replacement where appropriate and recycle where necessary.
• Comply with all company and site procedures and regulations.
• Ensure an efficient and effective response to incidents/emergencies and maintain effective communication with colleagues.
• Ensure you observe safety procedures and use safe working practices.
