Groundworker in Liverpool, Merseyside

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Groundworker to join a busy Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance team.

This is a permanent position and is ideal for someone looking for long-term, stable employment. Please do not apply if you are seeking self-employed, subcontractor, or temporary work.

Requirements

You must be experienced in carrying out groundworks and external repairs within occupied and void social housing properties, working independently to complete jobs safely and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Carry out paving, flagging, and pathway repairs
• Install and repair kerbs, edgings, and concrete works
• Complete fencing and gate repairs
• Undertake drainage repairs and unblocking works
• Carry out minor brickwork and external maintenance repairs
• Reinstate excavations and make good surrounding areas
• Repair and maintain driveways, footpaths, and communal areas
• Work safely within occupied residential environments
• Use a PDA/mobile device to receive, update, and close work orders
• Deliver excellent customer service when working around tenants and residents

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Groundworker within Social Housing, Repairs & Maintenance, or Property Maintenance
• Experience working in occupied and void properties
• Skilled in hard landscaping, drainage, concreting, fencing, and general external repairs
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Experience using PDA systems or mobile job management applications
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to pass a background check / DBS check
