Groundworker

We are currently recruiting a Civils Gang for ongoing highways works. The gang will consist of:

• 1 x 360 Excavator Operator
• 2 x Groundworkers (must hold dumper ticket)

Duties will include:

• Excavation and installation of drainage systems
• Kerb laying and edgings
• Laying of sub-base and preparation for surfacing
• Ducting and cable protection works
• Reinstatement works
• Traffic management awareness and working within live highways environments
• General groundworks duties associated with highways projects
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a small team

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card
• Dumper ticket (essential for groundworkers)
• 360 ticket / NPORS or CPCS (for operator)
• Highways/traffic management experience preferred (e.g. SSSTS, NRSWA)
• Own PPE
• Reliable transport to site
• Able to work as part of a small, established gang
