On-site, Monday to Friday – 10 hours per day (50 hours per week)
Client Overview
Our client is a leading name in the civil engineering sector, delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across the UK. They are known for maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on every site.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general groundworks duties including excavation, concreting and drainage
- Replace standard stainless steel structural fixings as part of site works
- Prepare and maintain work areas in line with project specifications
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Support trades and site operatives as required
- Follow site instructions and uphold health and safety standards
- Complete tasks to high quality and productivity requirements
- Current and valid CSCS card
- CTC (Counter Terrorist Check) clearance already held – this is mandatory
- Proven experience working as a Groundworker on civil engineering or construction projects
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance
- Experience working within a high‑security environment or large infrastructure site
- Additional tickets or plant operator certifications (e.g. dumper, roller)
- 12‑month contract providing long‑term stability
