Groundworker

Search Consultancy have fantastic opportunities for Groundworkers to work with some of our valued clients in Inverness and surrounding areas. These are temporary roles, however we have ongoing work for interested candidates and can offer great benefits such as various payment types and a referral scheme.

Duties to include:

• Excavating trenches, foundations, and other areas using hand tools or machinery.
• Preparing and levelling ground for foundations, slabs, roads, and paving.
• Installing drainage systems, pipes, ducts, and manholes.
• Laying concrete, kerbs, paving, and other groundwork materials.
• Setting out work areas according to drawings and specifications.
• Operating equipment such as compactors, breakers, pumps, and small plant.
• Assisting excavator and dumper operators.
• Backfilling and compacting excavated areas.
• Installing concrete reinforcement and shuttering where required.
• Maintaining tools and equipment and keeping the work area tidy.

Payment:

• £23- £25 per hour
• CIS & UMBRELLA
• Weekly payment
