Groundworker/Streetworks

Multi‑Skilled Groundworks (Streetworks) Gangs Required – Stockport

Start Date: 21th September
Duration: 8 weeks minimum however, should extend till Feb/March 2027
Hours: 07:30 – 16:30
Location: Stockport

Gangs Needed (x2):

• Groundworkers – £23ph – CSCS + CPCS/NPORS Dumper
• 360 Operator – £23.50ph – CPCS/NPORS 360

Requirement:

• One operative per gang must hold SSSTS + NRSWA Units 1–9 
• Existing Gangs Advantage for long term work
• (Typically the 360 driver or senior groundworker)

Key Scopes of Work:

• Drainage installation
• Ducting works
• Concrete bases & pads
• Kerbing & edging
• Reinstatement works
• General heavy civils tasks
• Existing Experience in Lighting Columns 
• Excavating and exposing existing live underground

Experience Required:

• Heavy civils background – minimum 8+ years
• Time‑served/Experienced Operatives 
• Live Excavation around Live Cables Experience is a must
• Strong service‑station civils experience
• Safe working around live services
• Confident assisting machine ops + dumper ops
• References must be provided covering listed scopes
• One gang member must hold SSSTS + NRSWA Units 1–9
