Groundworkers (2 Required – 1 with Dumper Ticket)
Location: Trowbridge
Rate: £21 - £22 per hour(depending on experience)
Duration: 2 Months
Hours Paid per Day: 9 Hours Paid Per Day

Job Description:

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Groundworks & Civil Engineering Contractor who are currently looking for 2 experienced Groundworkers to join their busy commercial project in Trowbridge.

One of the successful candidates must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket, whilst both operatives must be experienced all-round groundworkers capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Groundworker Key Duties:

• Carrying out all aspects of general groundworks.
• Drainage installation and repairs.
• Kerbing, edging and paving.
• Ducting and service installation.
• Foundations, concrete works and finishing works.
• Excavation and backfilling.
• Assisting with site set-up and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Operating a Forward Tipping Dumper (one operative only).
• Working safely and efficiently to programme.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
• 1 operative must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket.
• Proven experience as an all-round Groundworker on commercial construction projects.
• Ability to work from site drawings and follow instructions.
• Own PPE including Safety Boots, Hi-Vis Vest and Hard Hat.
• Own tools preferred.
• Ability to commute to site reliably.
• One work reference upon application.
