Groundworker/Telehandler Operator

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading contractor on an ongoing construction project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all aspects of groundworks, including drainage, kerbing, edging, foundations and general site works.
- Operating the Telehandler safely and efficiently as and when required.
- Loading, unloading and distributing materials around site.
- Preparing, excavating and levelling ground for construction works.
- Assisting with backfilling and reinstatement works.
- Working closely with site supervisors and other trades to meet programme requirements.
- Carrying out daily plant checks and reporting any defects.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with site health & safety procedures.
- Valid CSCS Card
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
- Proven experience working as a Groundworker
- Previous experience operating a Telehandler on construction sites
- Full PPE
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Additional plant tickets would be advantageous
