Groundworks Construction manager / Foreman  – £3M Project

Location: Windlesham, Surrey – GU20 6PH

Project Value: £3 million

Client: Tier 1 Contractor

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm

Paid Hours: 10 hours per day

Rate: £320–£360 per day, depending on experience

Vehicle: Van can be supplied

We are looking for an experienced Groundworks Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a £3 million groundworks project in Windlesham, working directly alongside a Tier 1 contractor.

The successful candidate will need strong site management experience and the ability to organise labour, materials and works efficiently while maintaining high standards throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

* Organising and managing groundworks teams on site

* Effectively allocating labour and putting men to work each day

* Planning upcoming works and ensuring the correct resources are available

* Ordering materials well in advance to prevent delays

* Liaising professionally with the client and main contractor

* Coordinating subcontractors, plant and deliveries

* Ensuring works are completed to programme and to a high standard

* Maintaining excellent standards of health & safety on site

* Ensuring site teams follow RAMS and company procedures

* Monitoring quality, productivity and progress

* Dealing with day-to-day site issues and keeping the project moving efficiently

* Communicating clearly with senior management and the client

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, organised and proactive, with proven experience managing groundworks teams on sizeable construction projects.

You must be confident managing labour, planning ahead, communicating with a Tier 1 contractor and maintaining high standards of health & safety and workmanship.
