Groundworks Squad

Job Title: Groundworks Squad (Ganger, x2 Groundworkers)

Location: Dundonnell

Duration: Ongoing

Start: ASAP

Hours: 11 days on, 3 days off rotation. Monday to Friday - 13 hours per day available (including travel). Saturday – 7:00am until 4:30pm. Sunday – 8:00am until 3:00pm.

Nightshift starting on 21st August for a period of time.

Rates: Negotiable and one way travel paid.

We are looking for a Groundworks Squad consisting of an experienced Ganger and two Groundworkers for our client’s large project in Dundonnell.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a groundworks squad carrying out culvert installation
• Carry out groundworks associated with culvert installation.
• Experience with culvert installation, bedding, alignment and backfilling.
• Excavate and prepare trenches to the required levels and gradients.
• Carry out associated drainage and general civils works
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard
• Maintain high standards of health & safety

Requirements

• Previous experience working on culverts is essential.
• Groundworks and drainage experience.
• CSCS card required.  
• CPCS/NPORS Plant and Vehicle Marshal ticket (Advantageous)
• Ability to read and work from drawings and levels.
• Strong understanding of site health & safety.  
• Ganger must have proven previous experience in leading a small squad including safety and quality
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
