We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to oversee operations on a busy Temporary Works construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising groundworks activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise groundworks teams on site.
- Manage daily site activities and workforce productivity.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health & safety regulations.
- Coordinate with site management, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
- Maintain accurate site records and reports.
- Ensure all temporary works are undertaken in line with approved designs and procedures.
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS Gold Card (Supervisor)
- Proven experience supervising groundworks projects.
- Strong understanding of temporary works and site safety requirements.
- Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- CSCS Gold card
- First Aid at Work certification.
- CPCS/NPORS plant tickets.
- Experience working on infrastructure, civil engineering, or utilities projects.
