With operations and customers across the UK, Europe and the US, the business has built an excellent reputation for product quality, innovation and customer partnership. As part of its continued development, the business is now looking to appoint a Group Commercial Sales Director to play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering its next phase of commercial growth.

The Role

The Group Commercial Sales Director will lead the group's sales strategy across multiple international markets, ensuring the business has the structure, focus and capability to deliver sustainable revenue growth. This is a senior leadership appointment with responsibility for driving commercial performance, strengthening customer relationships, improving sales discipline and ensuring greater consistency across territories. The role will involve working closely with regional teams and the wider leadership group to identify opportunities for growth, improve market penetration and ensure sales activity is aligned to the wider strategic objectives of the business. Key areas of focus will include sales leadership, commercial planning, pipeline management, forecasting, customer development and performance improvement across the group. The successful candidate will bring clarity, pace and accountability to the sales function, while also supporting the business in developing its approach to new markets, channels and customer opportunities. This is a highly visible role suited to a commercially minded leader who can operate strategically, while remaining close enough to the detail to influence performance and deliver tangible results.

The Person

The successful candidate will be an experienced senior sales or commercial leader with a proven track record of delivering growth within an international business environment. You will have led sales teams across multiple markets and will be comfortable working across different regions, customers and commercial structures. You will bring strong commercial judgement, a data-led approach and the ability to translate strategy into clear, measurable action. Experience of improving sales performance, developing teams, strengthening forecasting and building long-term customer value will be important. Previous experience within manufacturing, engineered products, building products, consumer durables or another premium product-led environment would be highly relevant. The successful candidate will be credible, collaborative and results focused, with the leadership style and executive presence to influence at board level while engaging effectively with teams across the business.
