The Opportunity
An established international organisation is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong financial accountant to develop their career within a multinational group, with exposure to group reporting, consolidation, technical accounting, audit, acquisitions and finance transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting and consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, management reporting and technical accounting disclosures.
Assist with statutory accounts, audit requirements and financial compliance, ensuring reporting is accurate and in line with IFRS and local statutory requirements. Maintain appropriate supporting documentation for key accounting areas.
Contribute to technical accounting and wider finance projects, including new accounting standards, acquisition accounting, M&A integration, treasury, foreign exchange and finance transformation initiatives.
Support process improvement, automation and standardisation across the finance function, helping to improve reporting processes, controls, systems and documentation.
Build strong relationships with international finance teams and senior stakeholders, acting as a key contact for reporting and consolidation queries while providing analysis and financial insight to support decision-making.
