Group Health, Safety & ESG Manager
South Yorkshire / North Lincolnshire (Hybrid)

Salary: £75,000 to £80,000 basic salary, depending on experience, plus car allowance/company car, annual bonus, private healthcare and enhanced pension.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Health, Safety & ESG Manager to join a successful international manufacturing and engineering group.
This senior appointment reports directly to the CEO and offers the opportunity to lead Health, Safety, Environmental and ESG strategy across multiple operating companies and manufacturing sites.
The successful Group Health, Safety & ESG Manager will work closely with site leadership teams, subsidiary management and HSE professionals, providing support, challenge and assurance to drive improvements in compliance, culture and performance.
Responsibilities for this Group Health, Safety & ESG Manager role
•    Lead Group Health, Safety and Environmental strategy.
•    Develop and improve HSE management systems and governance frameworks.
•    Support and coach HSE personnel across multiple sites.
•    Drive a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.
•    Plan and deliver audits, inspections and assurance reviews.
•    Monitor HSE performance and develop meaningful KPIs.
•    Report regularly to the Board and Executive Team.
•    Support ESG development, sustainability initiatives and environmental performance improvements.
•    Act as the principal internal HSE and ESG subject matter expert.
•    Engage with external legal, compliance and technical specialists where appropriate.
Requirements for this Group Health, Safety & ESG Manager role
•    Proven HSE leadership experience within manufacturing, engineering or heavy industry.
•    Experience operating across multiple locations.
•    Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance and Health & Safety legislation.
•    Experience developing management systems and performance reporting.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
•    NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
•    IOSH membership essential.
