Groups Meetings and Events Support Co-ordinator - Up to £33,000
Our client is a well established, leading independent travel management company who are looking to expand their existing G,M&E team with a Groups Meetings and Events Support Co-ordinator supporting the delivery of delegate and VIP travel for conferences, summits, roundtables and events across the UK and internationally. This role can be on a full or part time basis and comes with a salary of up to £33,000 pro rata. This role can be hybrid or office based.
Groups Meetings and Events Support Co-ordinator responsibilities:
- Book group and delegate travel, including flights, hotels, rail and transfers
- Manage delegate lists, rooming lists and travel manifests
- Track option dates, deposits and supplier release deadlines
- Handle amendments, cancellations and schedule changes efficiently
- Liaise with suppliers, client organisers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all travel arrangements and records are accurate and up to date
- Support the wider G,M&E team with travel coordination and administration
Groups Meetings and Events Support Co-ordinator skills:
- A minimum of 2 years' travel booking experience, ideally within business travel
- Strong GDS knowledge, preferably Amadeus, including ticketing and amendments
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple bookings and competing deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach
- Good working knowledge of Excel or similar systems for managing data and traveller information
Additional information:
- Salary of £31,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
- Part-time considered (3 or 4 days per week)
- Structured working hours with no requirement to attend events
