Mon-Thu 07:30-16:30 | Fri 07:30-12:30

The job
Hands-on fitting/assembly role in a busy manufacturing environment. Great opportunity for a trainee to learn, or an experienced fitter to step into a steady, long-term position. Practical transferable skills such as using hand tools or carpentry type skills would be great

Duties (day to day)

• Fit and assemble GRP/fibreglass components to spec

• Trim, cut and finish moulded parts (hand & power tools)

• Drill, bond and fasten GRP panels/assemblies

• Fit hinges, locks, handles and other hardware

• Work from drawings/specs, complete quality checks, fix minor defects

• Keep the work area safe, clean and organised; support production targets

What you'll need

• Positive attitude, good attention to detail, reliable work ethic

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Own transport essential (site location)

• Full UK driving licence required

• Manufacturing/assembly experience helpful (not essential for trainees)
