Prospero Teaching is delighted to be working with a welcoming and well-resourced school in Bromley to recruit a passionate and knowledgeable Hair & Beauty Lecturer for a full-time position starting in September.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hair & Beauty professional or qualified lecturer to inspire learners and deliver engaging vocational education, helping students develop the practical skills and industry knowledge required for future careers.

The Role
As a Hair & Beauty Lecturer, you will:

Deliver engaging practical and theory-based Hair & Beauty lessons.
Plan and assess lessons in line with the curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Support learners in developing professional and employability skills.
Maintain high standards of health and safety within practical learning environments.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have:

Experience teaching or lecturing Hair & Beauty in a school, college or training setting.
A recognised Hair & Beauty qualification (Level 3 or above).
A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or relevant teaching experience.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
