The Role
This key role is to manage the smooth running of a very busy Hairdressing and Beauty reception area. You will be required to work closely with students and staff and provide a first-class customer service. You will be responsible for booking clients using a computerized appointment system, receive payments using a computerised till in accordance with audit requirements and financial regulations and updating the client database.
The work pattern for this role is 20.5 hours per week as below:
Wednesday 11 am to 3pm
Thursday 8.30 am to 7pm (30-minute lunch break)
Friday 8.30 am to 3.30pm (30-minute lunch break)
What we are looking for
You should hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in numeracy and literacy and an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant qualification (e.g. customer service, business, marketing) or equivalent experience. You must have experience of working in a customer care environment and reception area and of dealing with problems in a professional manner. In addition, you should have experience of handing cash and accountability for accurate records and experience of monitoring stock levels.
