About the Role

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Handyman to join our team on projects across Reading and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a broad range of maintenance and repair skills who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out general maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties.
• Completing basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and minor electrical tasks (where competent and permitted).
• Installing fixtures, fittings, and furniture.
• Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues efficiently.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following all health and safety procedures on site.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a handyman or in a general maintenance role.
• Good all-round practical skills across multiple trades.
• Must have a valid CSCS Card.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving license is desirable but not essential.
