IMH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for 2 experienced Handymen to join their team on a long-term 3-year social housing contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and skilled individuals looking for consistent work with minimal travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out general maintenance and repair work within social housing properties.
  • Installing and drilling ventilation fans.
  • Adjusting and securing windows.
  • Planing doors to ensure correct fitting.
  • Replacing loft hatches.
  • Completing a variety of general handyman tasks to a high standard.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance or property repairs role.
  • Own tools essential.
  • Own vehicle required.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Good attention to detail and a professional approach to work.
  • Experience working within occupied social housing properties is desirable but not essential.

What's on Offer

  • £20.00 per hour.
  • Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am – 4:00pm).
  • Long-term 3-year contract.
  • Minimal travel, with work generally based on one housing estate at a time.
  • Immediate start available for the right candidates.
