IMH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for 2 experienced Handymen to join their team on a long-term 3-year social housing contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and skilled individuals looking for consistent work with minimal travel between sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general maintenance and repair work within social housing properties.
- Installing and drilling ventilation fans.
- Adjusting and securing windows.
- Planing doors to ensure correct fitting.
- Replacing loft hatches.
- Completing a variety of general handyman tasks to a high standard.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance or property repairs role.
- Own tools essential.
- Own vehicle required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good attention to detail and a professional approach to work.
- Experience working within occupied social housing properties is desirable but not essential.
What's on Offer
- £20.00 per hour.
- Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am – 4:00pm).
- Long-term 3-year contract.
- Minimal travel, with work generally based on one housing estate at a time.
- Immediate start available for the right candidates.
