The Role
As Harvest Manager, you'll lead a team responsible for ensuring turf harvest operations run safely, efficiently, and to customer specification.
This is a hands-on management role where no two days are the same. You'll spend time coordinating people, operating machinery, communicating with different departments, monitoring quality, and ensuring harvest schedules are delivered successfully.
Working closely with the Farm Director and wider management team, you'll be instrumental in keeping the operation running smoothly and ensuring customers receive the high-quality product and service they expect.
About You
We're looking for a confident and capable manager who enjoys leading from the front.
You may currently be a Harvest Manager, Farm Supervisor, Agricultural Operations Manager, Production Supervisor, or Team Leader looking for your next challenge.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in agriculture, horticulture or a related sector
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
- Experience operating agricultural machinery
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to make decisions
- A commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous improvement
Experience managing harvest operations or working within large-scale field-based production environments would be highly advantageous.
