MTrec Technical are representing our well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing client in their search for an experienced Haulage and Warehouse Planning professional. This role will play a crucial part in driving performance across outbound logistics and supply chain functions within a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Job you will do:

• Receive, process and track customer orders through electronic systems (EDI) and manually when needed.
• Arrange transport and deliveries using the company’s own vehicles, third-party transport companies and external partners.
• Make sure transport is arranged within the agreed budget and costs.
• Help plan vehicle collections, deliveries and loading schedules.
• Keep transport records and performance information up to date and prepare reports for managers.
• Work with shift managers and colleagues to make sure vehicles are loaded and leave on time.
• Communicate with customers to arrange transport, collections and delivery times.
• Help prepare customs and export paperwork, making sure all information is accurate and completed on time.
• Work with transport companies and warehouse teams to organise shipments and paperwork.
• Process orders and information through external customer systems.
• Upload sales orders to customer systems.
• Work with other departments to keep stock records accurate and deal with stock issues or adjustments.
• Process orders for goods being shipped from external or satellite warehouses.
• Help organise paperwork for goods being sent to external warehouses.

About you:

Excellent IT literacy and a high level of proficiency with CPMS/WMS systems and Microsoft Word/Excel is essential.

Recent relevant experience is essential, ideally a minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in a Haulage/ logistics role or similar within fast-moving manufacturing environments.

IT literacy and proficiency with SAP and WMS systems is preferred.

Ability to work unsupervised.
