Dunnock View is a specialist mental health service providing care and rehabilitation for adults with complex mental health needs.

Role Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work as part of the team to provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to service users.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing day-to-day care and support to service users.
• Supporting with personal care and daily living activities where required.
• Observing and reporting changes in behaviour or presentation.
• Following individual care plans and risk assessments.
• Supporting therapeutic activities and patient engagement.
• Maintaining accurate care records.
• Working closely with nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
• Following safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures.

Requirements

• Previous UK healthcare experience – ESSENTIAL
• PMVA training – ESSENTIAL
• Mental health experience is highly desirable.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Compassionate and patient approach.
• Ability to work effectively within a busy mental health environment.

Shifts

Dunnock View operates 24/7, with day and night shifts available, including weekends.
