HCA

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to residents in care homes and Nursing homes. Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
• Monitor and record residents' health status, reporting any concerns to senior staff promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a friendly and respectful environment.
• Assist with medication administration as per training and protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of personal spaces and communal areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Support with meal preparation and feeding when necessary, ensuring nutritional requirements are met.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a carein the UK is essential
• Good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Basic IT skills for documentation purposes and updating records efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals’ well-being.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
