Contract: Temporary (Ongoing from September until permanent recruitment is complete)
Hours: Monday to Thursday
Pay: £26.55 - £34.71 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Newcastle College, part of NCG, to recruit an experienced HE Health Lecturer for an ongoing temporary assignment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional with a clinical or nursing background to join the Higher Education team, supporting learners preparing for careers within the healthcare sector. The role will begin in September and continue until a permanent appointment has been made.
The RoleAs an HE Health Lecturer, you'll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching to Higher Education students, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours required for careers within healthcare.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive teaching sessions.
- Creating learning resources that reflect current clinical practice.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Supporting students through tutorials and academic guidance.
- Monitoring learner progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Embedding current healthcare practice and professional standards within the curriculum.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learner experience.
- Promoting safeguarding, equality, diversity and health & safety at all times.
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- A relevant qualification in Health, Nursing or a related discipline.
- Current or recent clinical or nursing experience.
- Teaching experience within FE or HE (desirable).
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards one.
- Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for developing the future healthcare workforce.
