Head Chef – B&I, N1 London, £45k Monday – Friday 40hrs

 

Located in the Central London, this corporate site is looking for a strong Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation and elevate the food offer. Catering for a busy staff restaurant as well as hospitality/events, the service consists of a busy breakfast and lunch with all menus being seasonal and up to date in terms of trends/concepts.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for the kitchen operation and all food produced
  • Manage, lead and develop the team ensuring consistent quality and standards are maintained
  • Create and develop an exciting, fresh and seasonal menu
  • Manage GP, budget control, wastage and compliance
  • Constantly monitor menus and evolve as needed
  • Work alongside the GM to drive the business forward

 

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

 

What we are looking for:

  • A strong Head Chef or Sous Chef with a proven work history
  • Ideally experience within corporate catering or a similar environment
  • Excellent management skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
  • Hands on with a genuine passion for food, ingredients and service
  • Financially astute – able to manage GP and budget
  • Good communication skills
