Key Responsibilities

As Head Chef, you'll lead the catering operation and create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You'll:

• Lead, train, and support the catering team
• Manage rotas, food ordering, stock control, and waste
• Deliver nutritious meals while managing allergies and dietary needs
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety
• Build relationships with residents and support their dining experiences
• Ensure compliance with food safety, COSHH and cross-infection procedures

What we're looking for

You'll be a confident, organised kitchen professional with:

• Experience in a similar catering environment, ideally within care
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• An NVQ Level 3 in Food Preparation and Cooking, or a willingness to achieve it
• Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems
• Flexibility to work a rota that includes weekends
