Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop a large Accounts Payable team
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance
- Lead on automation initiatives, including AI‑enabled solutions and workflow optimisation
- Oversee all AP operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial controls
- Build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Deliver insightful reporting and KPIs to senior finance leadership
- Champion best practice and modernisation across the AP function
- Proven experience leading a large AP team ideally of 20+ in a high‑volume environment
- Strong track record of delivering automation, process improvement, and digital transformation
- Confident working with AI‑driven tools or advanced AP technologies
- Inspirational leadership style with the ability to drive engagement and performance
- Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or similarly complex industries is advantageous
