Location: Essex
Salary: £50,000-£55,000
Contract: Full Time

Are you an experienced SEND/Additional Learning Support professional looking for a senior strategic leadership opportunity?

We are recruiting for a Head of Additional Learning Support to lead and develop a specialist education service supporting children and young people with SEND and health needs.

This is a senior role combining strategic leadership, service development, safeguarding, curriculum knowledge and operational management. You will work closely with education providers, families, local authorities and partner organisations to ensure high-quality, inclusive provision.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Significant experience within SEND, SEN, Inclusion, Additional Learning Support or a similar specialist education service
* A relevant SEN/SEND or specialist qualification
* QTS / Qualified Teacher Status
* Strong experience working within an education environment - ideally FE, schools, specialist provision or local authority
* Experience in a senior management, service leadership or curriculum management position
* Strong knowledge of SEND, inclusive teaching, curriculum pathways and individual learner needs
* Experience developing and implementing policies, service plans and improvement initiatives
* Excellent communication, leadership and partnership-working skills
