We are seeking an experienced Head of Asset Management - Lifecycle Delivery to lead the organisation's approach to lifecycle management, engineering assurance, reliability, maintainability and asset integrity.
This is a senior technical leadership role, acting as the technical authority for lifecycle asset management and ensuring assets deliver maximum value throughout their lifecycle while balancing performance, risk and cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise lifecycle management frameworks and methodologies.
- Establish intervention, maintenance and renewal strategies.
- Embed whole-life cost and value principles into asset management.
- Develop and standardise asset criticality and lifecycle planning methodologies.
- Define and oversee the engineering technical authority framework.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and escalate technical risks.
- Lead reliability, integrity and risk-based maintenance programmes.
- Identify systemic reliability risks and failure trends.
- Drive improvements in asset reliability, availability and maintainability.
- Define asset management requirements for capital programmes and assure maintainability and operability at handover.
- Lead engineering, maintenance and lifecycle specialists.
- Advise Executive Leadership on engineering and lifecycle risks.
- Establish scalable frameworks and methodologies for wider Group adoption.
About You
Essential:
- Minimum 10 years' engineering and asset management leadership experience.
- Extensive experience in lifecycle planning and engineering assurance.
- Proven experience developing reliability and maintenance strategies.
- Experience working within asset-intensive and highly regulated industries.
- Degree in Engineering, Asset Management or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Chartered Engineer or Chartered status within the relevant professional discipline.
Desirable:
- Experience leading enterprise engineering functions.
- Experience delivering asset integrity and reliability improvement programmes.
- Experience supporting major capital investment programmes.
- IAM Diploma or equivalent qualification.
