Head of Biology - Prestigious Independent School

Connaught Education is currently working with a highly regarded independent school in the UK seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Biology to join its thriving Science Department from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Biology teacher looking to take the next step into leadership, or for an existing Head of Department seeking a fresh challenge within a supportive and academically ambitious school.

Please note, due to the confidentiality of this appointment, we cannot be specific regarding location, however we can advise that the successful candidate will need to be open to relocation.

Whilst a relocation package is available, accommodation is not included with this role.

The role offers:

• Full-time or part-time considered
• Salary up to £44,940, depending on experience
• Responsibility Allowance: £3,250
• Relocation support available of up to £3,000
