Head of Block Management

Hyperion Partners is delighted to be working with an established property management business to recruit an experienced Head of Block Management to join its London-based team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished property professional with strong leasehold and residential block management experience to take on a senior leadership position, overseeing operational performance, service delivery and team development.

The Role

As Head of Block Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of a residential block portfolio, ensuring high standards of service, compliance and operational excellence.

You will work closely with internal teams, clients, residents and key stakeholders to drive performance, maintain strong relationships and support the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the residential block management function.
• Manage and develop property management teams, supporting performance and professional growth.
• Oversee the operational and strategic management of a residential leasehold portfolio.
• Ensure effective delivery of service charge management, compliance and client reporting.
• Maintain strong relationships with freeholders, leaseholders, residents and other stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of operational processes and continuous improvements.
• Ensure properties are managed in line with relevant legislation, industry standards and best practice.
• Contribute to the wider strategic objectives and growth of the business.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in a senior block management or property management position.
• Strong knowledge of residential leasehold and block management.
• Previous experience managing and developing teams.
• Excellent understanding of service charges, compliance and property operations.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to balance strategic priorities and day-to-day operations.
• MTPI qualification or equivalent professional accreditation is desirable.
